HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS On Monday we have been doing a fun day called Wheels day. we could wear mufti instead of wearing our school uniforms and also we could bring our wheels along as well, if some of the children did not bring any wheels to ride on they could borrow some with there friend or play the activities or they could bring there toy cars along. There were also was a slip n slide where we could slide down a slippery slide and get wet even get splashed by the soap at the bottom of the slide. There were also lots of fun games to play while your friend were playing on your wheels or you just put them away. My favourite wheels is the scooters it is the best wheels i had ever had! I thought it was hard because I was not there on wheels day. But some of the wheels and activity looked really really Hard. HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS around three or four weeks ago we had something really exiting that we got do, we got to do athletics! the whole school got to try everything, we had groups that were five to eleven year old groups. I was in the nine year old group because I am nine we got to try all sorts of things we had to do. The hardest thing ever I had to do was the relays it was really hard going back and running in a different lane and versing other students! The easy part was the high jump it was really hard for the other nine year old girls but I think I got the hang of it, I came first on the high jump. The teachers that were working in each sport was adding points. What I learnt about the sports is making good achievements!

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS This week and last week Te Waka Ako has been making a slideshow about some six thinking hats that are about the gala day it is like my other six thinking hats but it is a slideshow! it was really fun when we had the gala day we selled almost all of our paper. We had to write about what you felt about the gala day like what was the bad things and what were the good things. I thought that it was to easy because there were lots of photos and I could tell everything about the gala day. It was a bit tricky when I write about the black hat because I a not sure if I had any bad things about the gala day because it was really fun performing and getting food even playing games with my friends! It was really exiting because we had fourteen thousand money to fun raise. My favourite moment was the yellow hat because it was talking about the good things I did about the gala day.  It was also so much fun to!

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS Yesterday Te Waka Ako had to do creative writing! it was really fun because we had to write about a tiny turtle that just came out of the egg and talk about what happens next we could write whatever we want! I did find something a little hard but then I worked it out! What I found hard was making up a creative story and what will happen next after he hopes out of the egg. What I found easy was making the end part! I really need to work on making it shorter! It was the best creative writing I have done so far. The interesting part was the start of it, it sounded really cute! Here is a little slideshow about the creative writing i done!!!

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS Manukau is starting to make paper, why we are doing this is because we are selling paper and making them into Christmas cards! at the celebration day it is on Saturday! We are selling over one hundred Christmas cards. Why we are making Christmas cards is because it is almost Christmas and we want to sell them as much as possible. It was sort of hard at first but when I started doing it over and over again it got a bit easy and I did not need to ask for help! What materials we need to make paper? All you need is... screen, meshed up paper, A BIG container and a bucket and a towel. What I learnt was making paper it looked really interesting on YouTube watching the people make there very own homemade paper! The really interesting part was scooping the paper onto the frame. My least favourite thing to do was ripping the bits of paper, the paper was sticking to my hands yuck! It changed my thinking because I could make birthday cards as well instead of just making Chr

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS Last week and this week Te Waka Ako has been finishing the book review from the slideshow, what I read was Super Finn it was interesting. I am going to show you the whole slideshow of the book review, what we had to do was we had to make a build your wild self, title page, narrative structer, plot or a story line, favourite moment, opinion, tinker cad, questioning and a glossary! What I found hard was making the build your wild-self because there were lots of parts that I really needed but was not there ( it was mostly the clothes ) And what I found easy was making the six thinking hats it was really fun! what I also found out was looking at some new words I never thought existed they were also really long and interesting words, What I should work on next time is making the story line a little bit more shorter but it was really fun to. here is a slideshow of my book review  

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS Last week and this week we worked on a slideshow that was a book review. What we had to do was we had to read a novel and talk about the book in the book review. I read Super Finn. It was really interesting and funny. It was about a boy who wanted to save people that were in danger. In the slideshow we worked on there were links to activities you had to do. Here is a screenshot about my six thinking hats activity.  What was hard about this is that there were lots of hats and I had  to think about what I was going to write in each of them. What was easy was one of the hats like the good thinking hat . You should read the book, it was really interesting because Finn wanted to raise money for charity. That's how he wanted to be a superhero. I also really enjoyed it.

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS T oday this morning the whole school went to go see a CRAZY science show, There were lots of amazing things that they had did we had people do it for us they are called Richard and Robyn. They were really nice and funny people, And here is a fact that I never knew about science and magic... Science is magic! I thought  science was just maki ng  stuff and learning about History.  My favourite part in there was when they did a GIGANTIC bubble that was cool. I also had a question, How did he put the ball into his mouth? (  What he did was he put a red ball into his pocket then it came out of his mouth it was funny and disgusting at the same time  ) What I learnt was you can put a ball on a hairdryer when it is going and the ball will float (  I will try that at home  ). Hello Fellow Bloggers L ast week the year five and sixes went to camp at Mt Ru apeh u. After when we came back we had to finish a slideshow about Mt Ruapehu, Even the slideshow is part of our inquiry. What my challenge was that some of the pages in the slideshow were really hard to do but I did get a little help from people. What I succeeded was I finished the slideshow and I can now blog it on my page for you guys. It was a bit of a challenge at camp when we were going to camp because some people have not skied or snowboard before even I couldn't get the hang of it when I just started to ski. What i did complete was to keep trying and trying, Then I started to go up a higher mountain which was a little bit steep and a little bit high even a bit rocky, but I did not mind it was called Rock Garden. Hello Fellow Bloggers The children that joined netball at our school get to play every Saturday. It starts at 8.30 or 8.00 . It is only for seniors that are year 5 and year 6. What I have to learn about netball is I have to shoot properly into the goal and the second thing that I need to work on is looking where is the clearest spot to pass sometimes. I do not throw the ball to who is the clearest away from its buddy but I still need to try hard. What I am good at in netball that I can go in clear spaces where my buddy isn't so I can catch the ball easily. I thought it was really fun. I think I should do a bit of work on my shooting I need to try hard to look with my eyes to see if there is a clear person that is on my side to pass. 

HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS I n Te Waka Ako we had to buddy up,I buddied up with a Hauraki student, her name is Darlene. We created something called making smart choices and it is part of cyber smart.What we had to do was take photos of me and my buddy, then we had to add a speech bubble about what cyber smart is. For example if me and my buddy were getting inappropriate pictures we would put some speech bubbles that say "I just got an inappropriate picture I'm gonna delete it." HELLO FELLOW BLOGGERS In my group called Phillipa Weary we created a bio graph. For the bio graph we heard that there was an actor called Michel Mulipolo and he discovered comics since he was four. I learnt something special about him! That he has some secrets for making good comics. Please leave a comment about my blog because i love getting them.

hello fellow bloggers In reading crossover we created a info graphic but on a google drawing that was about rocket facts first we used kiwi kids news to use the information then we wrote it in google drawings.Also we had to find pictures about the text for example if I said earlier launch attempts were delayed due to wind I would put a picture of the wind  here is a link to kiwi kids new.
